O TPleasant surprise. Came mainly for the Lanzhou beef noodles but ended up enjoying the lamb skewers just as much. The beef noodle soup is a proper Lanzhou style with a clear, clean broth rather than a heavy one. Fresh hand-pulled noodles had good chew, the beef was tender, and the chili oil added fragrance without overpowering the soup. The complimentary cold vegetables before the meal were a nice touch. The lamb skewers were surprisingly good. Don’t expect an intense charcoal or smoky flavor—instead, think good-quality lean lamb that’s juicy and tender with just a light exterior char. The cumin and chili seasoning complemented rather than masked the meat, so the lamb itself remained the star. Service was fast, prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Excellent neighborhood or late night option beside the blue Masjid Malabar, if you live near Lavender MRT.
Yang ZhengAbsolutely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Singapore! The Lanzhou beef noodles here are simply outstanding — rich, flavorful broth with the perfect balance of spice, and the noodles are incredibly fresh and chewy. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. Honestly, this is the best Lanzhou beef noodles I’ve had in Singapore. A special shoutout to Lisa, who provided amazing service throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back again!
Badr Ali Khan KiyaniOrdered Cumin Beef (amazing in flavour), tomato egg noodles, original beef noodles, dry noodles with bell pepper ad beef gravy, beef dumplings and a jug of salty sweet tea. Cumin beef was delicious although a bit on the pricey side for the portion. Noodles were great, and portion size is quite huge so do consider sharing if ordering in a group. The dry beef dumplings are always my favourite and best with the vinegar! Salty sweet tea had a good flavour but could have been less sweet as we found the sweetness a bit too overpowering. Have been coming since before they closed to renovate and will keep coming! Open till 11pm so its very convenient as a spot for late suppers as well!
