I visited the outlet at Dairy Farm mall recently. The food was really wonderful. I ordered beef rendang...it's different from other recipes I had taken before. Very very just spicy and one can feel and taste of the coconut milk was cooked perfectly. I added nasi lemah instead of plain rice. It's makes more tasty. The rice was cooked on perfection and it's soft and we can feel the frangance of you coconut tastes. The green chilli bergodo chicken is too very tasty. I added chilli padi lemah just to get the taste ...I was not disappointed..it's really good. The cost is reasonable. The crowd is reasonable queue. The chef at the outlet is very friendly and helpful and say to say a beautiful lady. She is the one attending the stall. Well done 👍

I was here today (9 March 2026) for some snacks after having my lunch at the Food Kakis food court in which this Malay food stall is located. It was my first time trying this Malay food stall and also, the Food Kakis food court. I ordered a Sardine Epok2 and Kueh Kosui. The former was okay only, because the pastry was a tad chewy but the Sardine filling was good. As for the Kueh Kosui, I have to say it was very good - and I am not unfamiliar with how a good Kueh Kosui should be. Service at the stall was very good - friendly and polite. The dining ambience at the food court was very comfortable with the tables spaciously separated and in air-conditioned comfort. By the way, I chanced upon looking at the Mee Soto here and it looked very scrumptious.

Finally found proper authentic Malay food again in Woodlands! Al-Usroh serves big portions at very reasonable prices. Every dish was flavourful and comforting. Super worth it if you’re looking for good food without burning your wallet. 👍🏽
