Masala Thosai has been one of my favorites. I passed by Blk 257 Bangkit, Food Hub coffee shop frequently but never tried theirs, so I decided to order one. It was a little pricey compared to the one I had at the Bukit Panjang hawker center. My conclusion is that it's value for money because their potatoes are bigger and more in quantity, and their dipping sauce is thicker - not the watery type.
The ayam goreng is especially good. I eat here often so I am not sure what the bad reviews are about. Boss and his workers are always friendly and relaxed with a warm smile. Very hygienic no flies. Food is fresh and prices are very reasonable too.
Went to order 2 plain prata and 1 thosai. They made an egg thosai instead and did not bother to clarify before they cook. Thus had to pay extra $1. Also, as the total amount was $5.40, I used my $5 cdc voucher to pay and the balance ($0.40) by paynow. However, I was told that it requires min $2 order for paynow which they did not even state. Other stalls that I went can still pay the balance without any min charge. Will be the last time I’ll come here. They have to improve their service quality greatly. Not to mention that the price here is quite expensive as well.
