For foreigners as me from Europe worth a try. Great Prata. No stomach issues, safe and ok. Nice Indian owner. Was here the 2nd time, first time in January with a friend now alone. Near mosque that’s why the name Imam. Misleading name: No imam was praying. Joke aside. Would be more authentic if all food is served on banana leaf. Some are some not :) Biggest pro: it seems to be open 24 hours and you get good portions. Location: Lots of hotels nearby, if you hungry just go here for a walk. It is hot but they have some nice fans. Food: let’s be honest the Nasi Lemak was just 4/10. sambal and sauce were just not Malay or Indo standard 🥘 The Prata and Egg Prata was 9/10 super tasty and served hot. Juices: we had fruit juices too the first time and it was good n fresh. Just mention not to add sugar. Cleanliness: 6/10 overall ok but you could see stains etc on plate and cutlery. On a bad day a foreign stomach may not be able to handle it but for me it was 2 times ok. Still cleaner than most Malaysian and Indonesian open food stalls. Price: fair good value. All you can see on table for 15SGD + 1.5 L water which costs in 7/11 3SGD. Service: nice and humble. But they should ask if I want Nasi Lemak with Chicken Breast or leg/wing. The staff was very loud discussing and throwing plates next to me but ok. Bad seat choice. Payment was possible even with tap great but on receipt no foods listed. I like it as business claim and to remember what I have eaten. Keep going. Hope next time I see banana leafs 🫢

Since I was staying close to the this place in my hotel decided to walk in as seemed busy . Ordered coffee which was okay quite sweet I guess it s what they do a lot of condensed milk good for the local palate but I could not really drink this . Ordered Lamb curry and chicken dry roast with The Roti - lamb was decent but felt it was warm not really hot and so was the chicken warm and not hot . The roti Paratha was good tried 2 types one flaky and one with egg . Was too much food for just one person but ordered this just to try . Over all pretty decent but suitable for local palate . I’ve tried similar food in the Hawker markets and have to say they are much much better . Anyways not bad to try one time for Expats

We stayed in Singapore for 3 days and ended up eating here every single day sometimes twice! We became obsessed with the mutton curry ($6), chili chicken ($5), and the mango lassi ($4) Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were super generous for such a low price. Singapore can be expensive, so finding this gem felt like striking gold. If we ever come back to Singapore, we’ll definitely be eating here again. The staff was lovely too. Highly recommend! 🙌✨
