Peh Woon OngI ordered the spicy aroma 2 pc set. Even though it was quite empty, it took a while for the buzzer to buzz before I was called to the counter, only to have the lady show me two miserably small black looking drumsticks She asked me if it was ok as it would need 15 more minutes for them to fry the thigh. My response was one of shock — to think that that was what I paid 10.80 for. I asked to have one changed to a non spicy thigh which she then told me I can’t as the price was different. I decided to take one of the drumstick as my son and I were hungry and wait for the thigh. I thought the drumstick was dark probably because it was the special spicy aroma marinated. But when the other thigh was ready, it didn’t look as dark, which meant the drumsticks originally offered to me could have been fried 5 times over. I almost wanted to give 1 star for it, but it’s redeemed because it was still quite flavorful and juicy. (Though my husband would probably say it is very salty. )
KYShould have read the reviews before ordering food here. For $12.90, I received this burnt soggy mess. I ordered takeaway and didn’t know this is what they packed. If I did, I would have returned it and requested a new fish to be prepared.
Kye OuzzaOrdered a 6-piece Aroma Chicken from Foodpanda. What arrived was dark brown, cold, and stale. No aroma at all. This is marketed as Golden Aroma. What I received looked and tasted like chicken that had been refried over and over. The kind of dry, hard, bland texture you get when a makcik keeps refrying the same ayam penyet because nobody ordered it. Completely lifeless. Portions were wrong: 1 drumstick, 2 wings, 2 ribs, 1 breast. No thighs. If this is the intended breakdown, state it clearly. If not, someone needs to revisit basic maths. Zero fragrance, inconsistent pieces, and no sign of freshness. THIS WASN'T FRESH CHICKEN. It felt like whatever was left, reheated and sent out anyway.
