MealsphotosLunch at Anchorvale Hawker Centre today and decided to give 97 Nasi Lemak a try. 🍗🍚 Ordered their Chicken Chop Nasi Lemak and added an extra chicken wing because one piece never seems enough! The rice wasn't the most lemak version I've had, but it was still fragrant and paired nicely with the other ingredients. The chilli was the highlight for me—sweet with a good spicy kick. If you like more heat, just add a little extra chilli and it really elevates the whole plate. The chicken chop was well-cooked too. Tender, juicy, and not overly tough, making it a satisfying main. I was actually tempted to try their fried mee as well, but it looked like it had been sitting out for quite some time, so I decided to skip it for this visit. Hopefully I'll get a chance to return earlier one day and give it a proper try. Sue Lynn TanCame here for breakfast and decided to try their noodles with sides. Ordered a mixed of mee goreng (spicy version) and white beehoon. Sides we chose the fish fillet, curry chicken, okra and curry vegetables. Damage was $8.60. Verdict: Taste wise, loved the mee goreng maybe because it’s spicy so made it more appetising. Curry chicken was a little too salty. Chicken however was tender and fragrant. Curry vegetables were also a tad too salty maybe a suggestion to the chef to try less salt next time?? Lady boss was very friendly and accommodating. There was a queue but it moves really fast. Servers scoop and dish out really quickly and efficiently! Well done ! 👏
NeoBoth counter girl show a hack care attitude even though long q. The cashier show a kind of attitude ,she was so busy stocking up the chilli and took very long time to clean up the over spill chilli. I dnt understand why she has to do that ,there is another older lady she can do the stock up . She can just take the order and help up the packaging.And too generous to give chilli. I prefer the Malay cashier previously she is faster and more attentive and well manners .
