Have lunch on a Saturday. The place is surprisingly empty. But the chickens are really nice. Tasty and succulent. The sauce is also authentic. Meet our expectation. Fries are of superior quality. All are crunchy outside with soft inside. Ambience is great (cos not crowded). Best past is the staff were very polite and friendly. Totally opposite form K*C. Will encourage all neighbours to support so we are. Alternate choice of fried chicken in Tiong Bahru.
The food was decent overall. The chicken tenders turned out to be made with chicken thighs, but unfortunately, they were quite fatty and not very enjoyable. The star of the meal, however, was the cheesy loaded fries. We initially thought it would just be fries, but it came with four pieces of meat as well—super worth it if you’re only getting one dish! The chicken wings were fine, nothing exceptional. Do note that all their chicken items are made using either thighs or wings. One downside unrelated to the food—the announcement volume was way too loud. It would be much nicer if it were softer on the ears.
The best Korean style fried chicken with distinct and flavorful sauces. I ordered spicy drumsticks with rice and kimchi sides (as in photos). The chicken itself is juicy and flavorful with crispy fried skin. So unique that’s why different from other fast food chains. Quite casual dining atmosphere there and most importantly it offers reasonable price. Really satisfied with quick, tasty meal for my dinner. One of downside is that some said there can sometimes be mixed reviews about the consistency in cooking or waiting times, particularly during peak hours. But overall to me, it is a satisfying choice for craving a crunchy, flavorful-bite day🤭🫶🏻
