Conveniently located within the food hall in the basement, their fried turnip cake is definitely a highlight of their stall apart from their famous curry chicken puff. Nice outercrust and crispy edges with flavourful and moist interior, makes you keep coming back for more. Their curry chicken puff is also one of the best you can find in sg compared to some bigger brands out there. Flaky pastry and interior is full of curry, such a joy to destroy the entire puff in a few mouthful. Happy to be here and happy to always return for more.
jlLove their curry puff with its buttery and flakey pastry. Much better than Old Chang Kee nowadays in my opinion. The 3-in-1 with the tasty goreng pisang-like batter is always a treat. I used to always pick up some snacks at their Great World City outlet after classes but unfortunately the stall has since been replaced by another curry puff brand. Now I visit Takashimaya for my fix.
AQ LAfter not eating 1A in years, had one on a whim and it did not disappoint. The curry puff pastry is still so rich and flaky, and the filling is generous. Very satisfying snack. Old Chang Kee may be more famous but taste and value wise, don’t see them topping this.
